## How to integrate OSNexus QuantaStor with Squadcast

2\. Select **OSNexus QuantaStor.** Copy the displayed **Webhook URL** to [configure](#in-osnexus-quantastor-create-a-squadcast-webhook-alert) it within **OSNexus QuantaStor**. Finish by clicking **Add Alert Source** -> **Done.**

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:**

When an alert source turns Active, it’ll show up under Configured Alert Sources, you can either generate a test alert from the integration or wait for a real-time alert to be generated by the Alert Source.\
\
An Alert Source is active if there is a recorded incident via that Alert Source for the Service.
{% endhint %}

### In OSNexus QuantaStor: Create a Squadcast webhook alert

1. In the dashboard, click on **Alert Manager**

![](/files/3UIxml0akHVvfUAOW2yE)

2. Click on **ITSM Integrations**. In the **Module** drop-down, select **squadcast**. Paste the previously copied **Squadcast Webhook URL** and click on **Add**

![](/files/NT98sqY1wFWp0koFBFZj)

3. Click on **Generate Test Alert** and click **OK**

![](/files/pTuOtGV9XWfTSfbgOytA)

This should generate a test alert from OSNexus QuantaStor, in turn triggering an incident in Squadcast. This will confirm that the integration is working as expected.

That's it, you are good to go!

* Whenever an alert is generated in OSNexus QuantaStor, an incident will be created in Squadcast.
* When the alert is closed in OSNexus QuantaStor, the corresponding incident will also be resolved in Squadcast.
